The Taskforce For Global Health

The Mectizan Donation Program is partnered with The Task Force for Global Health. The Task Force is a non profit organization based in Decatur, Georgia, USA, which was established to promote public health goals and global health equity by building coalitions, forging consensus, and leveraging scarce resources. Since its inception 25 years ago, the Task Force has successfully convened people and organizations from the public and private sectors to improve health conditions for children and families around the world. Task Force programs work to control and eliminate infectious diseases such as polio, lymphatic filariasis, malaria, river blindness, HIV/AIDS, and trachoma. The Task Force also has programs with expertise developing and implementing information systems that support improved health information sharing across public health organizations. and well-being in communities. The Task Force maintains core values of social justice, integrity, commitment to children, and optimism.
