This heartwarming new video also provides perspectives from from global health workers and NTD experts from many sectors on the difficulties and possibilities in the job of controlling or even eliminating these diseases.

MDP salutes World NTD Day

On World NTD Day we look back on more than three decades of the groundbreaking donation by Merck & Co., Inc.* of Mectizan to eliminate onchocerciasis, which led to additional companies donating medicines to combat other NTDs. Watch the video here.

Principal Deputy Director, Mectizan Donation Program

The Principal Deputy Director for the Mectizan Donation Program (MDP) serves as the second-in-command to the Director for all management and science-related decisions that govern MDP’s work. See the Task Force career page for the job posting and to apply.
