Sharon Dorsey is the Project Coordinator for the Mectizan Donation Program (MDP). In this role she provides meeting planning, financial management, communications and administrative support to the team. Before joining MDP, Sharon worked at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, serving as the chair’s assistant in the Hubert Department of Global Health and as the program coordinator for the Food Fortification Initiative. She began her career at the Task Force for Global Health as the senior secretary to the CEO. Since then, Sharon has gained professional experience in project management, financial and data analysis, fiscal planning, and managing international multisector meetings and workshops.
